WHEREAS, Father Turley exhibited extraordinary heroism without thought for his own safety on July 28, 2011; and,

WHEREAS Father Briane Turley responded by entering the structure and awakening Anthony; and,

WHEREAS, as Mayor and on behalf of the citizens of Tulsa, I wish to commend
Father Briane Turley for his courageous life-saving act of kindness; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Dewey F. Bartlett, Jr., Mayor of the City of Tulsa, do hereby present this Certificate of Recognition to Father Briane Turley
